The Carabinieri of the station of Pietrelcina They reported a 58-year-old man, already known to the police, to the Benevento Prosecutor's Office for the theft of approximately 300 euros taken from the collection boxes inside the Padre Pio Santo liturgical hall.
The operation was carried out as part of the territorial control services provided by the Benevento Carabinieri Company Command, with a significant deployment of resources and personnel throughout the Company's jurisdiction.
In particular, the main roads and peripheral areas of the cities were checked to prevent the commission of crimes with particular reference to crimes against property.
In the town centre of Benevento, in the nightlife areas, the following checks were carried out:
withdrawal of a driving license for driving under the influence of alcohol;
administrative seizure of two uninsured vehicles;
report to the prefect of Benevento of a 26-year-old found in possession of 0,5 grams of hashish.
