The second edition of the cultural award dedicated to the ethical value of Luigi Vanvitelli's visionary spirit goes to the Bishop of the Diocese of Caserta and Archbishop of the Diocese of Capua.

After the first edition of the award in which Prof. Umberto Galimberti was awarded, this year's edition was assigned to SE Pietro Lagnese for his foresight in the rebirth of the former Macrico area now called Campo Laudato Si', from a war camp to a peace camp, for its redevelopment and its making available to the city and at the service of the common good: "The conversion of that area could represent, for a territory that has been mortified many times, a formidable opportunity for sustainable development, capable of combining care for Creation and job opportunities for many young people".

This is the motivation: "recognition of the ethical value of a visionary conscience from which derives the conviction of a continuous real action lived in the spiritual awareness of God's will, regardless of the result".

The award ceremony was held privately at the Diocese of Caserta with Mons. Lagnese and a delegation from Fabbrica Wojtyla, in a communion of intent and vision in which HE affirmed his deep closeness to the young artists, towards the cultural and social actions they carry out in the city and the sharing of the Rosso Vanvitelliano project as City Branding of the City of Caserta, supporting Rosso Vanvitelliano and the artistic work of Fabbrica Wojtyla promoted by Ali della Mente.

Among the declinations of the cultural brand Rosso Vanvitelliano, the Premio Cultura Futuro Prossimo is the honor awarded annually to personalities who have distinguished themselves for the ethical value of visionariness, a specific and unique component of human heritage. It was born from the poetic image of Luigi Vanvitelli who, immersed in the red of a sunset in front of the endless land of Caserta, sees the image of the largest Royal Palace in the world being built in his mind. An architectural masterpiece that he designed and that he never saw realized in his life, thus becoming a historical example of altruism for the capacity of a foresight whose result is the future,

The Rosso Vanvitelliano Culture Award is a way of life, a bridge of thought between utopia and reality in the design of a better future for the benefit of all. By exalting the ethical component of human heritage, the Rosso Vanvitelliano Award represents the value of vision in the very essence of man, in the affirmation of identity with the capacity for individual foresight whose projection is the future of all.
