The Teatro Serra of Naples announces the 4th National Award “Serra–Campi Flegrei” for theatrical vocation in the art of monologue. There are two competition sections: Authors and Actors. Artists, professionals and non-professionals, with no age limits, can participate with texts of any kind, in Italian or dialect, published, unpublished, reworked, by a well-known or unknown author, of a maximum of 5 pages and a duration between 4 and 7 minutes.

The call will close on February 29, 2024.
During the auditions, which will take place between April and May 2024 at the headquarters of the theater space in Fuorigrotta, in Via Diocleziano 316, a Selective Jury made up of entertainment professionals will choose seven finalists - three Authors/Authors and four Actresses/Actors - for the final evening of Monday 7 October 2024 always at the Theater headquarters.
During the event, an Honorary Jury, made up of professionals and personalities from the world of culture and information, will decide the winner of each section, who will be awarded a sum of money equal to €500.
Registration requires a payment of €40 for secretarial costs.
Participation in multiple sections at the same time, by paying a single fee, is permitted only in the case in which a candidate actor is also the author of the text in the competition. In all other cases, each artist is required to pay a registration fee for each section of the competition. The entire initiative enjoys the moral patronage of the Municipality of Naples.
