Tomorrow in Melbourne the Australian Open final will take place, where Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev will face off. Sinner, fresh from his victory over Djokovic, is determined to leave his mark on tennis history and take home a large prize pool if he wins.
Winning the Australian Open would guarantee Sinner a prize of 2 million euros, while the losing finalist would receive 1 million euros. In addition, tennis players earned a sum for each match won, bringing the total already earned by Sinner to 1.546.718 million euros.
And in case of victory, Sinner would also make a leap forward in the ranking of the best tennis players in the world, where the South Tyrolean currently occupies fourth place.
