Last September, a man violently attacked an 81-year-old man in Sant'Anastasia: he grabbed his head, stole 150 euros from his pockets and then threw him to the ground, causing him several abrasions.
The investigations conducted by the Carabinieri of the Sant'Anastasia station led to the identification of the person responsible for this robbery, a 51-year-old local, GN with a criminal record. At the request of the Nola Prosecutor's Office, a precautionary detention order was issued against him.
The investigations were launched following the complaint filed by the victim, and made extensive use of the analysis of video surveillance images, as well as the testimonies of those present.
The 51-year-old was transferred to Poggioreale prison in execution of the issued order.
