A cemetery of stolen and dismantled cars was discovered by the Carabinieri of the Stella PM and the station of Secondigliano in a private avenue Agrelli, transformed into a sort of cemetery of vehicles abandoned among the weeds, wrapped in rusty frames.
The site surrounded the premises of a run-down but organized repair shop, which had a weak GPS signal from a car stolen a few days earlier.
Although the laboratory was equipped with a frequency jammer to avoid police checks, this was not enough to prevent the discovery, as the batteries were flat.
The radio impulse was not the only element that led the Carabinieri to Eduardo De Benedictis and Giovanni Sollo, both involved in the illegal activity. A tool dropped on the ground attracted the attention of the police.

The metallic clang drew the eyes and ears of the Carabinieri to a rusted shed, where the two men were busy dismantling the wanted car. They realized they were surrounded only when it was too late.
Eduardo De Benedictis, 43, and Giovanni Sollo, 28, were arrested on charges of money laundering and held in prison pending trial. The area where the cannibalized cars were stored was seized by authorities.
