A seizure order was executed for assets worth approximately 800.000,00 euros.
The officers of the Patrimonial Prevention Measures Section of the Anti-Crime Police Division of the Naples Police Headquarters have executed the seizure order of assets aimed at confiscation, pursuant to the anti-mafia prevention legislation, issued by the Court of Naples - Prevention Measures Section, against Vitale Troncone, aged 56.
The man is a highly dangerous individual, with multiple convictions for weapons and drug crimes, attempted extortion aggravated by mafia methods, armed robbery, and personal injury.
Subjected to the preventive measure of special public safety surveillance until last spring, already believed to belong to a Camorra-style criminal association, called Nuova Camorra Flegrea, active in the Neapolitan district of Fuorigrotta, an area with a high commercial vocation, in which a violent conflict between criminal associations has been underway for years, to ensure control of the territory and the proceeds deriving, in particular, from drug trafficking and extortion activities to the detriment of entrepreneurs and traders.
In this context, Troncone was the victim, in December 2021, outside the homonymous café, in the neighborhood Fuorigrotta, of a Camorra-style ambush, during which he suffered gunshot wounds. In acceptance of the proposal put forward by the Naples Police Chief, the Judicial Authority issued a seizure order for the following assets, which emerged from the asset analysis and were found to be in the effective possession of the man, even if formally registered in the name of his family members, purchased during the period in which he expressed his dangerousness.
The seized assets amount to a value of 800 thousand euros
In addition to a residential property located in the Fuorigrotta district, financial relationships and an individual business located in the same district and operating in the restaurant sector, called “Caffetteria Troncone”, were seized.
The total value of the assets subject to preventive seizure amounts to approximately 800.000,00 euros.
