The Gebbia Hall of the Maddaloni Municipal Library was packed for the presentation of the book “Olivia and the others – the normality of evil in the diary of a magistrate” by Deputy Public Prosecutor Diana Russo.
The event was organized by the associations “Alberto Tixon” and “Maddaloni Donna”, with the patronage of the Municipality of Maddaloni.
Mayor Andrea De Filippo opened the event by underlining the importance of the topics covered in the volume, such as violence against women and minors.
Speakers included Raffaella Perrella, associate professor of the Department of Psychology at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” and Rossana Ferraro, CREG member of the University of Tor Vergata.
In closing, Diana Russo underlined the importance of the work of the judiciary in complex cases of violence and invited those present to continue to believe in justice and institutions.
In addition to Mayor De Filippo, representatives of the municipal administration and also minority representatives were present. At the end of the presentation, the two associations donated a plaque to Dr. Russo to commemorate the event.
