Seven months after the mysterious disappearance of the little girl Kata From the former Hotel Astor in Florence, a photo taken on a bus could represent a turning point. Katherine Alvarez, Kata's mother, identified her daughter in this image, rekindling hope and providing investigators with a new lead.

The Carabinieri of Florence, during the investigation into the disappearance of the five-year-old girl on June 10, presented Katherine Alvarez with a photo taken on a city bus.
