The first eco-island arrives in Greek's tower. This morning, Velia Ambiente delivered and positioned the machine at the Palatucci parking lot, near Palazzo La Salle. The experimental phase of the project wanted by the municipal administration begins today, to then install two other eco-islands in other parts of the territory.
This is a computerized device, capable of accurately monitoring the waste disposed of. Citizens will be able to dispose of waste at any time of day, identifying themselves through the barcode of the health card of the person registered with the Tari role. Subsequently, it will be sufficient to touch with the hand the corresponding device of each door dedicated to the respective types of waste to deposit the desired waste.

In this regard, the disposal of all types has been planned: wet, paper and cardboard, multi-material, glass and residual dry waste.
The device is video-monitored to prevent any uncontrolled waste dumping near the eco-island.
