Tosca will celebrate her 2024th anniversary in music as an artist in residence at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in XNUMX, continuing her musical journey.
Starting February 4, he will perform in the Sala Petrassi with a series of three different events entitled “D'Altro Canto”, written by Giorgio Cappozzo and Valentina Romano and musically directed by Joe Barbieri.
The first event, dedicated to Naples, will see the participation of Tosca and her musicians together with Peppe Barra, Peppe Servillo, Serena Rossi and Raiz. On the occasion of this event dedicated to Naples, the album “Sto core mio” will be launched, recorded during the concert of Tosca dedicated to Roberto Murolo at the Trianon theater in Naples.
The album will be available for purchase from January 26th both in physical format on the official website tizianatoscadonati.it, and in digital version on various streaming platforms. Tosca will return to the Auditorium stage with two other special shows of “D'Altro Canto” on March 26th and October 31st, dedicated respectively to cinema, with guests such as Massimiliano Bruno, Stefano Fresi and Rocco Papaleo, and to haunted music, with other exceptional guests to be announced soon.
The “D'Altro Canto” project began three years ago as a radio broadcast, and then transformed into an album and a theatrical event. During this journey, it has been enriched with content while maintaining its playful and light spirit, also addressing delicate issues. On stage, Tosca joins other artists to share music, stories, ideas and visions, exploring new musical horizons. Each event offers a starting point and, through music and reflections, involves the audience in unexpected explorations, revealing new perspectives.
Tosca comments: “A small happy island in the sea magnum of a complex time, from which one does not seek escape, but only a different key to interpret it with grace and irony”.
She enthusiastically adds: “It will be a pleasure and an honor to share stories and give music to the many friends who will come to visit me, united by the same vision of art and its emotional, social and growth function”. On stage, Tosca and her guests will be joined by musicians: Giovanna Famulari on cello and vocals, Massimo De Lorenzi on guitar, Fabia Salvucci on percussion and vocals, Luca Scorziello on percussion and drums, Arabella Rustico on double bass. “D'Altro Canto” is a Don Chisciotte and Do7 production.
