At the Troisi Theatre 'Tutti uniti per Peppe', fundraising to support research

Many artists on the stage of the Teatro Troisi for the association Il Sorriso del Principe in rete with LILT Lega Tumori Napoli, FORME Foundation for Research in Medicine, Unesco Chair – Unesco Federico II Chair in Health Education and Sustainable Development and the non-profit association Africa in Testa.

The friends of Peppe Giannino, opinion leader and entrepreneur of the night world, snatched from life by cancer last year, gathered in the association Il Sorriso del Principe, chaired by Raffaele Guarino, maintain the commitment of a second edition of the event "Tutti uniti per Peppe", organized with the aim of raising funds to support research, raise awareness of prevention and give concrete help to families in difficulty who are victims of this merciless disease.

These are the wishes of Peppe and his friends who met again this year at the Teatro Troisi together with the artists who, at the invitation of the artistic director Pino Oliva, participated in the celebration gala, free of charge for the good cause. Gianluca Capozzi, Vincenzo Comunale, Angelo Di Gennaro, Fabrizio and Aurelio Fierro, Gianni Fiorellino, Ciro Giustiniani, Mavi, Rosario Miraggio, Monica Sarnelli, Erminio Sinni, Mr Hyde gave the sold out audience an extraordinary show of music and theater, presented by Gianni Simioli and Gaetano Gaudiero.

To make its work concrete, the association, together with Alessandro Totaro, coordinator of the scientific committee of the association "Il sorriso del principe", has created a partnership with LILT Lega Tumori Napoli, FORME Foundation for Medical Research, UNESCO Chair – UNESCO Federico II Chair in Health Education and Sustainable Development, and the non-profit association Africa in Testa, which has set up diagnostic clinics in Tanzania.
