Umberto Cristadoro is the new president of the Metropolitan Acli of Napoli. He was elected by acclamation by the ACLI council, which met for the occasion in a symbolic place, the headquarters of the association Figli in Famiglia in San Giovanni a Teduccio, one of the most “difficult” places in the metropolitan area of Naples.
Cristadoro, 63 years old, originally from Ercolano, public employee, is currently a member of the national presidency of the Unione Sportiva Acli and, in the previous associative mandate, held the position of deputy vice president of the Acli of Naples. He takes the place of Maurizio D'Ago.
"I will devote my full commitment to this honorable role, serving ACLI members, our users, and the citizens of the Metropolitan City of Naples," President Cristadoro said in his opening remarks. "The presidency is a position of great responsibility, one that I will carry out with total dedication, professionalism, a spirit of service, and scrupulous and rigorous adherence to the rules."
Continuing the intense work done during the previous term, my energies will be focused on fulfilling this role by putting into practice the values that define our association: loyalty to the Church, to workers, and to democracy. I thank Maurizio D'Ago for guiding the journey thus far; I will continue the path we have charted together.”
The association of Neapolitan Christian workers has over fifteen thousand system members, divided into dozens of basic structures throughout the metropolitan area. The council also elected the new president by acclamation, on Cristadoro's proposal.
Deputy Vice President is Michele M. Ippolito, while the second vice president is Daniela Russo, responsible for the coordination of Acli women. Administrative manager is Antonio Liberti. Martina Piccolo completes the elected members. The members by right are the president of the Acli Sports Union Luciana Cristadoro, the president of the FAP - Federation of the Elderly and Pensioners Gennaro Guida, the coordinator of the Youth of the Acli Giuseppe D'Amico, the Acli Colf manager Anna Cristofaro.
