"I think that telling about Mary today in her hometown – explains the author – is important because it is too often underestimated. It was thrilling to free her from her status as a legend and bring to light her story of courage, love for her country, and bold freedom in a patriarchal society."
The author Veronica Grossi will be joined by the publisher Gino Giammarino, Valeria Spinelli, architect and activist for human and women's rights, and Manuela Barbato, journalist and artistic director for dance at the Teatro Bellini in Naples.
