A villaricca , two alleged members of local Camorra clans were arrested for an attempted extortion against the owner of a fuel station.
According to investigations, on September 30, the two allegedly demanded money from the business owner, threatening to damage his business and highlighting his alleged membership in Camorra clans.
Fortunately, the extortion did not materialize because the owner of the fuel station promptly reported the incident to the Carabinieri.

The investigative unit of the Castello di Cisterna Group has executed a precautionary custody order, issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Court of Napoli at the request of the Neapolitan District Anti-Mafia Directorate.

The suspects were issued a warrant for attempted extortion, aggravated by mafia-related practices. The warrant provides for pre-trial detention for one of the two arrested, while the other is placed under house arrest.
