Angelina Mango wins the third evening of the Sanremo Festival 2024

Angelina Mango triumphed on the third night of the Sanremo Festival 2024 with the song “La noia”, beating Ghali and Alessandra Amoroso. Currently, the provisional ranking sees her in the lead, thanks to the combined vote of televoting and radio.

The evening was marked by controversy over John Travolta, with Amadeus expressing his disappointment: “There was too much talk about Travolta and too little about Giovanni Allevi”.

Il Tre's performance set the stage alight with its energy and a message of hope for young people. Maninni brought the anxieties of his generation to the Ariston with "Spettacolare".

Teresa Mannino won over the audience with her ironic and biting comedy, offering a moment of lightness after the controversy and receiving a standing ovation while paying homage to Sicily.

Eros Ramazzotti returned to the Ariston 40 years after his debut, singing “Terra promessa”, a hymn to peace and against war. A touching moment was the homage by Paolo Janacci and Stefano Massini to those who died at work with “L'uomo del lampo”.

Ricchi e Poveri and Gianni Morandi made the audience dance and sing, with Morandi particularly moving with “C'era un ragazzo…”.

Russell Crowe returned to the stage after 23 years performing “Let the light shine”. There was a nice little sketch with Amadeus and Mannino on Travolta's surname.

A passionate kiss took place between Giuliano Sangiorgi and Emma. The evening passed quickly, with Teresa Mannino's monologue dedicated to the environment and against violence against women.

Gianni Morandi returned to the stage with “Apri tutte le porte” by Jovanotti, receiving acclaim from the audience who sang along with him.

Music prevailed over controversy: songs, lyrics and irony were the real protagonists of the third evening of the Sanremo Festival 2024.
