This morning, the State Police arrested 6 minors, aged between 16 and 17, accused of having committed 7 violent robberies against peers in the Bicocca area, in Milan, between November 27 and December 1, 2023.

The investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Milan, were conducted by the police officers of the Greco Turro Police Station.

The robberies took place in various areas of the Bicocca district, including the "Arcimboldi-Ateneo Nuovo" tram stop for tram 7, the Bicocca station on the M4 line, the bus stop for bus 52 in Piazzale Egeo, Viale Fulvio Testi on the corner of Via Santa Monica, and on board tram 31.

The victims, mostly university students between the ages of 16 and 20, were threatened with knives and bottles and forced to hand over their cell phones. In one case, one of the victims was hit in the forehead with glass from a bottle, resulting in injuries that would heal in XNUMX days.

The perpetrators were identified thanks to the victims' testimonies, video surveillance footage, and an analysis of the boys' social media profiles.

The arrests were made in Milan, Brescia, and Naples. The young suspects were taken to the Beccaria juvenile prison in Milan and the Nisida institute in Naples.

The Police Headquarters' statement also notes that in the last year, officers from the Greco Turro Police Station have carried out two searches, one arrest in flagrante delicto, four arrests of suspects, one custodial order for four minors, and three precautionary measures for placement in a community at the Viale Fulvio Testi facility.
