This time, the police targeted Aversa's bustling nightlife, including all the bars, pubs, restaurants, and hangouts that attract young people from all over Campania.
During the coordinated territorial control operations carried out yesterday by the Carabinieri of the Aversa Company , supported by the canine unit of the Sarno Carabinieri Unit and by personnel from the Caserta ASL, targeted checks were carried out at various commercial establishments in the city centre.
This activity was concentrated during the busiest hours of the nightlife, involving pizzerias, bars and meeting places to verify compliance with health and hygiene and sector regulations.
During the checks, the managers of two pizzerias were fined administratively for a total of 3200 euros. In addition, 350 people and 200 vehicles were checked, issuing 25 traffic violations.
The use of canine units allowed the identification of a citizen of Moroccan origin, domiciled in Aversa, who was found in possession of approximately 5 grams of hashish during a personal and home search. Following this administrative violation, the man was reported to the Prefecture of Caserta.
