
A severe blow to drug lords was dealt by the Finance Police of the Aversa Emergency Response Company, who seized over 51 kg of cocaine and arrested three people during an anti-smuggling check on the A1 motorway.
The raid took place in the locality CaivanoThe Finance Police stopped an articulated lorry carrying three men, two of whom were already known for previous smuggling activities.
Suspicious of the three men's furtive behavior, the Finance Police inspected the vehicle and found the blocks of cocaine well hidden under a tarp in one of the tank compartments.
