The Naples Carnival in Piazza Mercato is about to return, with an edition scheduled for Sunday, February 11th.
Admission is free, and it is an event designed to entertain the entire family. Throughout the event, which will take place from 10:00 to 13:00, there will be inflatables, games and entertainment to entertain adults and children right in the heart of the Neapolitan city.
The festival is organized by the Forum for the promotion of the Mercato – Orefici territory, which brings together the Community Foundation of the Historic Center of Naples, Asso.gio.ca., the Consorzio Antico Borgo Orefici and the Consorzio Antiche Botteghe Tessili. With the support of the Municipality of Naples and the II Municipality, the Carnival of Masaniello in Piazza Mercato aims to bring the traditions, habits and customs of the city back to the square.
The event will culminate with a parade and the awarding of the most original mask. Furthermore, this year it will be held again after the great success of the 2024 Epiphany Fair, which has already filled Piazza Mercato with many events and lots of fun for the participants.
