On February 10th and 11th, the National Railway Museum will host a special event entitled "Where Do Cartoons Live? – The Grand Fairy Tale Ball."
A weekend dedicated to Carnival, during which both adults and children can immerse themselves in a festive and masked atmosphere inside the suggestive historical site. The event is part of the “Families experience” project promoted by “Ma dove vivere i cartoni?” and offers an engaging, artistic and playful experience for the whole family, allowing you to escape for a few hours from the daily frenzy.
The Grand Ball will feature both fairy tale characters and participants, who can dress up as they like and live an unusual experience full of surprises. During the weekend, families will be taken to enchanted places and fantastic atmospheres, participating in various exciting activities such as dancing with princesses, watching duels between good and bad guys and casting spells.
The event will be animated by a cast of professionals, including actors, singers and dancers, who will guarantee an innovative and engaging experience for all participants. Therefore, there is no doubt that the Gran Ballo delle Favole at the Museo Ferroviario Nazionale will be an unmissable opportunity to experience the carnival in a unique and unforgettable way.
"A grand ball ," comments Oreste Orvitti, director of Pietrarsa, " with fairytale characters. An event that evokes the fantastical and magical atmospheres of bygone eras. A bit like traveling on our historic trains and visiting the Pietrarsa Museum, where certain sensations are experienced every day. It therefore seems like an appropriate place to create in young participants the illusion of being at a 19th-century party ."
"The Grand Carnival Ball in Pietrarsa ," say Aurora Manuele, team leader, and Francesco Chiaiese, artistic director, " is one of our must-sees. Both for the setting, given that Pietrarsa (with its Bourbon garden, pavilions with historic trains, and views of the Gulf of Naples) is a true gem, and for the performances we put on every year, always with new and surprising twists to offer visitors new experiences. We thank director Orvitti for this long-standing synergy. Our activities are carefully planned down to the smallest detail, from the organization to the costumes to the artistic performances, because we strive to offer a quality product. This is to repay those who have followed us for years and the new friends who will start following us ."
Whatever mask they want to wear, on Saturday and Sunday the doors of Pietrarsa will open to everyone for the Grand Carnival Ball.
