A person was fined after leaving rubbish along Via Fosso del Torricchio in Casoria , a peripheral road near the External Ring Road.

Despite the absence of images from the surveillance cameras, the Environmental Guards of the Municipality of Casoria managed to identify and sanction him using a traditional method: they inspected the waste bag in search of elements that could lead to the perpetrator of the act.

Among the waste they found a medical prescription that allowed them to identify the alleged perpetrator.

The man was then identified and fined. Mayor Raffaele Bene stressed: “Whoever pollutes must understand that in Casoria, sooner or later, they will be identified and fined. We are using all the means at our disposal, both technological and traditional, to stop illegal dumping”.

Councilor Marianna Riccardi added: “We are focusing our efforts on urban decorum and the fight against environmental crimes. I want to congratulate those who are helping to achieve positive results, but there is still a lot of work to be done.”
