The President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, stated that despite the excellence achieved in the financial and healthcare management of the region, such successes often struggle to receive visibility in the national media.
De Luca emphasized that Campania stands out for its results in budget management, stating that it is the leading region in Italy in this regard. During the inauguration of the judicial year of the Court of Auditors in Naples, the region's progress in reducing the deficit was recognized, as attested in the reports of the accounting justice bodies.
De Luca stressed that Campania is among the first regions to have a balanced health budget, unlike other regions in the center and north that have accumulated significant health debts over the years.
He attributed these results to the extraordinary work of regional leaders and urged them to continue on this path to ensure institutional dignity and demand greater attention from national institutions.
"Regarding the healthcare budget," De Luca emphasized at the end of the ceremony, "we are among the two or three regions with a balanced budget. Other regions in central and northern Italy have accumulated between 500 and 800 million euros in healthcare debt over the years, while we have everything balanced.
All this," he concluded, "is the result of the extraordinary work our leaders do. We must continue like this because this is the prerequisite for having institutional dignity and demanding a level of attention that is lacking today."
