Everything went as expected: the popular jury and the radio stations awarded Geolier the prize. Despite accusations the day before that he was bringing a "fake" Neapolitan to the Ariston stage, it was Neapolitan rapper Geolier himself , with his song "I p' me, tu p' te," who triumphed on the second night of the Sanremo Festival, rewarded by the radio and television votes.

And the news was greeted with great enthusiasm by Amadeus' son, Josè, sitting in the front row, who rejoiced. The artistic director's son could not contain his enthusiasm when he heard the name of the Neapolitan rapper, idol of teenagers and leader of the 2023 charts,

A particularly moving moment of the evening was Giovanni Allevi's return to the stage. The pianist, absent from the stage for almost two years due to multiple myeloma, recounted his experience with the disease.

Visibly moved, Allevi took off his hat to “free himself from the burden of external judgment” and played the song “Tomorrow,” a message of hope for the future.

The second evening of the Festival also saw the performance of 15 other artists, each of whom was introduced by a competing colleague.

Dargen D'amico's clarification: I didn't want to be political

The evening's host was Giorgia , who sang "E poi," a song that turns 30 this year. Also noteworthy is Dargen D'Amico 's clarification regarding his comments last night on the ceasefire in the Middle East.

The singer-songwriter wanted to emphasize that his message was not political in nature, but was simply driven by love and the desire for peace.
