The Carabinieri of the Park Nucleus of castellabate They proceeded with the seizure of a building intended for residential use, located in an area of particular environmental value within the definitive perimeter of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park.
The artifact, obtained by closing a wooden shed without proper building permit, consists of a structure measuring approximately 8,20 metres by 4,30 metres, made with concrete blocks, divided internally and covered with insulated panels, and rests on a concrete slab.
A man was reported to the Vallo della Lucania Public Prosecutor's Office for being identified as responsible for the illegal works.
Furthermore, by order of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Vallo della Lucania, the military personnel of the Castellabate Park Carabinieri Unit and the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park Carabinieri Department carried out the preventive seizure in Montecorice of three properties consisting of two residential buildings and a plot of land on which a reinforced concrete platform had been built with a removable PVC house and an iron portico on top.

These structures were also located within the definitive perimeter of the Cilento National Park and in an agricultural area.
The investigations, conducted in collaboration with the Municipal Technical Office, confirmed that the works carried out by four individuals belonging to the same family violated building, landscape, environmental, and earthquake regulations, causing significant and permanent alteration to the land with the intent of illegally subdividing agricultural land.
The property owners were charged with illegal construction and landscaping in an area of significant environmental value. During the investigation, the request for regularization of one of the illegal structures, made by a designated technician, was also discovered to have been false.
