The Carabinieri of the Baiano Company have seized 300 NCC (Rental with driver) licenses issued by the Municipality of Sirignano starting from 2015.
The order was issued by the Deputy Prosecutor of the Avellino Public Prosecutor's Office, Antonella Salvatore. The charges brought against the suspects are forgery committed by a public official in collusion and abuse of office.
The investigations are ongoing and entries in the register of suspects are not excluded.
The case—previously reported by Il Mattino—had already been investigated by the Tourist Unit of the Naples Local Police, which had reported the holders of the fake licenses.
The Municipality of Sirignano denied having ever released the documents and initiated some revocation actions in self-defense. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Avellino he wants to see clearly and is investigating the matter.
