After being alerted by the 112 Operations Centre of Casal di Principe, the military went to the municipality of Villa Literno to carry out an inspection at a reported buffalo farm. On site, in addition to the owner of the farm, there were also veterinary medical personnel from the ASL of Caserta and technicians from the ARPAC of Caserta.

During the inspection, incorrect management of zootechnical waste emerged, with the presence of sewage extending from the stables to the surrounding land over a surface of over 1000 mXNUMX. Furthermore, the administrative documentation relating to the management of waste was expired for several years.

The investigations carried out revealed an unauthorized activity of management of non-hazardous special waste consisting of livestock effluents. Consequently, the Carabinieri Forestali proceeded with the judicial seizure of the areas affected by the illegal disposal of livestock effluents and of a Fiat Punto car found in an evident state of abandonment.

The owner of the livestock farm was reported to the judicial authorities at liberty for the crime of illegal management of non-hazardous special waste consisting of livestock effluents.
