Local police officers Napoli, belonging to the Building-Heritage Departments and the San Giovanni Operational Unit, intervened in the neighborhood Ponticelli, precisely in via Oplonti. In collaboration with the local police station, the fire brigade and Napoli Servizi, they proceeded with the demolition of two metal walls that constituted an obstacle to the free movement of pedestrians and people with disabilities.
The premises in question, built illegally, had a structure composed of steel plates and a reinforced door equipped with a safety lock. During the operation, several people were reported to the judicial authorities for occupation and illegal invasion of public spaces.
At the same time, officers from the Stella Operations Unit, the Central Investigative Police and the Territorial Intervention Group intervened in the Stella and Sanità neighborhoods. During the operation, a total of 44 reports were issued for various violations, including illegal parking, careless vehicle entrustment, lack of requirements to drive a moped, driving without a license, failure to use a protective helmet, lack of insurance coverage with consequent administrative seizure of the vehicles. In addition, violations related to failure to have the vehicles inspected were detected. The situation was further managed by seizing two cars, deemed responsible for obstructing traffic.
