The Archbishop of Naples, Monsignor Domenico Battaglia, visited the CTO Hospital in Naples today. Accompanied by Anna Iervolino, General Director of the Colli Hospital, he offered spiritual comfort and solidarity to the hospitalized patients and those waiting in the emergency room.
During the visit, Monsignor Battaglia visited various areas of the hospital, including the triage, neurology, surgery, orthopedic departments, and intensive care. He met with several patients and spoke with hospital staff.
The visit ended with the celebration of Holy Mass in the hospital chapel. During the homily, Monsignor Battaglia emphasized the importance of the gaze as a form of care and welcome, and praised the presence of the health personnel next to the sick.
