Last night, the Naples Carabinieri mobile radio unit responded to Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi, where a fire broke out inside a construction site opposite the former fish market.
The flames engulfed some plastic pipes, but fortunately there were no injuries thanks to the timely intervention of firefighters. An investigation is currently underway to determine the origin and cause of the fire, considering all possible hypotheses.
The alarm was raised by citizens living in the area who saw flames rising from the construction site and, fearing the worst, alerted the fire brigade and the Carabinieri.
