They used secret service technology, the Israeli one, among the most sophisticated in the world, to defend their computer network and launder 2,6 billion. The eight members of the criminal organisation busted today by the Guardia di Finanza Napoli.
The detail was revealed by Naples' chief prosecutor, Nicola Gratteri, during the press conference where the results of the operation were illustrated.

The provincial commander of the Guardia di Finanza, General Paolo Borrelli, said the organization's clients include those from Campania, Lazio, and Lombardy. The investigation also involved foreign countries and led to the examination of hundreds of encrypted documents and the scrutiny of 140 banking transactions.
Among the seized assets are:
15 properties in Vilnius, including two luxury apartments in the Old Town, two hotels and a bar-restaurant
4 properties in Riga, including two luxury apartments
A villa in Ercolano with swimming pool and football field
A property in Portici
A property in Como
A yacht
The organization was estimated to have around 6 clients.
