Tribute to Pino Daniele and Performance of the Quartieri Jazz at the Galleria Borbonica in Naples
An event not to be missed is scheduled for Saturday 10 February 2024, at 21.30 pm, in the evocative setting of the Galleria Borbonica in Naples, with the performance of Quartieri Jazz.
During the evening, the Neapolitan band will pay homage to Pino Daniele and present their new album “La Città Parallela”. The event will also offer the opportunity to visit the unique underground site of the city.
The concert will take place in the Galleria Borbonica, a place of great charm and historical importance, commissioned in 1853 by King Ferdinand II of Bourbon and designed by architect Errico Alvino. Thanks to the Borbonica Association, the underground complex has been recovered and made accessible to the public.
During the visit to the Galleria Borbonica and the Quartieri Jazz concert, participants will have the opportunity to admire fragments of statues, vintage cars and motorcycles found under rubbish and debris, thus immersing themselves in the history of Naples. The evening will be accompanied by the sound of Mario Romano with his manouche guitar and Gianluca Capurro on the classical guitar.
The gates are scheduled to open at 21.00:XNUMX p.m. to allow for ticketing and the formation of groups for the walk along the “Standard Path” of the Gallery, which will culminate at the “Cava Bianca” for a brief presentation and introduction to the Quartieri Jazz concert.
