A 25-year-old convicted felon from Pozzuoli was arrested for stalking and aggravated damage to a friend of his ex-girlfriend.
He was so convinced that she was responsible for the end of his relationship with his friend and his arrest for possession and dealing of narcotics that he began to threaten her.
But also to harass her. He stalked her. He insulted her and threatened her publicly. He even set fire to the cars used by the young woman's family and neighbors, causing a fire hazard.
The investigations of the State Police, which arose from the report of a car fire and the subsequent statements of the injured parties, allowed them to outline a serious circumstantial framework against the 25-year-old.
His actions caused the victim to experience a long-lasting and severe state of anxiety and fear, forcing her to alter her lifestyle.
For this reason, today the police executed a precautionary custody order issued by the Court of Naples – Preliminary Investigations Section at the request of the IV Investigations Section of the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office which deals with proceedings relating to "Gender-based violence and the protection of vulnerable sections of the population".
