The organizational phases for the thirtieth edition of the Mia Martini Award have been officially launched. Confirmed for this celebration are the artistic director Franco Fasano and the president of the artistic commission Mario Rosini, both recognized in the panorama of Italian Music.
Also this year, the Award will welcome great names of national and international music among the guests of the event, consolidating its fame in the sector.
To participate in the auditions, young Italian and international talents can submit their recordings on the award's official website: www.premiomiamartini.it/audizione . The deadline for applications is March 30, 2024.
The Mia Martini Award celebrates three decades of music and talent, honoring the memory of Mia Martini, one of the greatest voices of Italian music. With clear and detailed regulations for the various sections such as New Proposals for Europe, Evergreen and Una voce per Mimì 2024, the competition offers opportunities for artists of different age groups.
The “New Proposals for Europe” section is open to singers and groups between the ages of 13 and 35. “Evergreen” welcomes artists aged 36 and over, while “Una voce per Mimì” is dedicated to young talents aged 4 to 12.
Organized by the Associazione Cultura e Spettacolo of Bagnara Calabra, Mia Martini's hometown, the Award is sponsored by the Calabria Region, SIAE and Nuovo IMAE, aiming to celebrate and promote the singer's artistic legacy both in Italy and around the world, offering a platform for the launch of future music stars and to inspire new generations in the world of art and entertainment.
