During a new task force, the Qualiano Municipal Police Command conducted a thorough check of the area, paying particular attention to municipal school buses.
This initiative was led by Commander Gaetano Cerasuolo, in response to citizens' reports and the primary interest shown by Mayor Raffaele De Leonardis for student safety.
Unfortunately, several anomalies were found during the operation. Two vehicles were found without the necessary authorizations and insurance coverage, while a third vehicle, subject to a previous seizure, was again discovered in circulation without authorization to transport children and was therefore confiscated.
But the failures are not limited to the above. The Municipal Police officers proceeded to seize another 4 vehicles without insurance, in addition to a scooter whose ownership was not in order for insurance or inspection.
Overall, 7 measures were taken and other fines were issued for violations of the highway code. The Municipal Police Command assured that the territory control activity will continue without interruption in the coming days.
