Avellino, at a country house in the municipality of Quindici owned by a 90-year-old who died several years ago, the agents of the Lauro Police Station discovered and seized weapons and ammunition.
Among the finds, a semi-automatic Kalashnikov rifle in good working order together with a magazine with sixteen bullets, and 74 pistol cartridges hidden in a cellophane wrapper in the attic. The weapon, hidden in a cardboard box, in perfect working order, had not been registered in the database.
The seized material was sent to the police scientific section and will be investigated to trace their possible recent use.
