Maestro Ambrogio Sparagna will be the protagonist of the event “Colloqui di Salerno 2023-2024 – Annabella Rossi: 'Living reality is already science'”, organized by Vincenzo Esposito and the Interdepartmental Laboratory of Anthropology “Annabella Rossi” – Unisa, with the collaboration of Ugo Vuoso.
The event will be held on Monday 12 February at 11:00, at the “ER Caianiello” Humanistic Library at the Unisa-Campus in Fisciano, and in the afternoon at 17:30, at the San Michele Complex in Salerno. During the event, Sparagna, one of the most important musicians of European popular music, will talk about his meetings with the anthropologist Annabella Rossi and will perform with his diatonic accordion in a performance of popular music that will enliven the finissage of the exhibition “Annabella Rossi and photography” underway in San Michele.
Maestro Ambrogio Sparagna, founder and director of the Orchestra Popolare Italiana of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome and a student of Diego Carpitella, will present an intense performance of popular music.
Sparagna has created numerous projects in collaboration with important Italian institutions and artists and international soloists. During the event, he will talk about his meetings with the anthropologist Annabella Rossi, which took place during popular festivals and pilgrimages, offering a unique experience that combines music and popular culture.
