Antonello De Rosa performs Annibale Ruccello's "Traccia di Mamma" in Salerno.
Next Friday, February 16, at the Auditorium of the Social Center of Salerno, the presentation of the intensive study by Antonello De Rosa on a text taken from “Mamma… piccole tragedie minimali” by Annibale Ruccello will take place.
De Rosa, recognized as the main interpreter of the “ruccelliana” current, has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout Italy for the show “Traccia di Mamma”, which he has been performing for over 20 years. He also received a mention from critics at the Festival “Le Voci dell'Anima” in Rimini. On stage, he will be accompanied by students participating in the theater workshop organized by De Rosa himself.
The show deals with the slow and inexorable torment of a woman lost in the confusion of her mind, crushed by madness, painful memories and an absurd loss. Through an essential scenography and a clever play of lights, Ruccello's word comes to life, restoring its new strength. The audience will be able to immerse themselves in the painful lines of the monologues, mixed and confused in a network of symbols and signs that become a glue between the image and the word, the gesture and the meaning.
