An intense evening at San Giorgio a Cremano, where the Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco company, supported by the Sarno dog unit, conducted a series of checks to identify suspicious activities.
During the operation, two local men, a 36-year-old and a 26-year-old already known to law enforcement, were arrested for drug trafficking.
During the search of the 36-year-old's home, 63 grams of cocaine and two precision scales were discovered, hidden in the stairwell of a room and located using the scent of a drug-sniffing dog. The arrested individuals are currently in custody awaiting trial.

In addition to drugs, the checks led to the identification of 53 people and the inspection of 40 vehicles. During the operation, a 23-year-old man was reported for unsuccessfully attempting to escape arrest in his car.
Further investigations revealed several traffic violations, including refusal to take a breathalyzer test, driving with a suspended license, and driving the wrong way. Vigilance will continue in the area over the coming days, with additional checks planned.
