Carabinieri officers from the Giugliano Mobile Unit arrested a 28-year-old woman with no criminal record in Sant'Antimo for domestic abuse. The arrest occurred yesterday afternoon after a request for help regarding a family dispute.
The Carabinieri, arriving on the scene, found a man and his two children, aged 9 and 6, who said they had been attacked by their wife and mother. The woman, armed with scissors, had chased her children and husband into the condominium courtyard.
The 28-year-old's anger was triggered by the fact that the children had told their father that they had been left alone during the morning to allow the woman to meet another man.

The woman had first beaten her children in front of their father and then chased them with scissors. The Carabinieri investigations allowed them to ascertain that the woman had already beaten her children in the past, causing injuries reported by medical personnel.
The Carabinieri arrested the woman and seized the scissors. Social services were notified and the children were entrusted to their father. The arrested woman is in Pozzuoli prison.
