Sant'Antonio Abate, assets worth 9 million euros seized from Galtrading srl

The Guardia di Finanza, on behalf of the preliminary investigations judge of Torre Annunziata, has executed a preventive seizure order for an equivalent value of 9.140.288,96 euros against the company Galtrading Srl, with headquarters in Saint Anthony the Abbot, of its legal representative and of the two de facto directors of the company.

The investigation stemmed from a tax audit, which revealed that the company, operating in the wholesale food sector, failed to file its VAT return for 2021, resulting in tax evasion estimated at €2.731.431,54, and filed a false return for direct taxes for the same year, resulting in IRES evasion of €6.408.857,42.

One of the two de facto directors of the LLC initially set up the company, appointing a cousin of the same name as its legal representative, director, and sole shareholder, unaware of what was happening, using a counterfeit identity card.

Subsequently, he allegedly transferred the company's positions to a front man, with the aim of holding him liable for criminal liability arising from the failure to file tax returns for the 2021 tax year.

The director's son is also implicated in the investigation, as he has collaborated with the front man since the beginning of the Guardia di Finanza's inspection and investigative activities and has been identified as jointly responsible for the company's management, along with his father.

During the execution of the precautionary measure, which is still ongoing, legal liens will be imposed on properties, company shares, financial assets, and vehicles attributable to the suspects' company, the total value of which is currently being quantified.
