The book “SWINGING 60s – Music, cinema, fashion, art and culture in London in the Sixties” by Michelangelo Iossa and Franco Dassisti has just been published by Hoepli Editore and offers an immersion in the culture of the fabulous Sixties.
The first national presentation will be held in Naples on Tuesday 20 February 2024 at 18:00 at the FELTRINELLI bookshop in Piazza dei Martiri. The author Michelangelo Iossa will be present, together with the popular television host and author Pino Strabioli, who will lead the meeting.
During the event, pianist Alessandro Crescenzo will perform musical pieces and actor Maurizio Merolla will read excerpts from the book. “Swinging 60” offers an in-depth and up-to-date overview of the fabulous Sixties, a legendary period in the history of music, art and culture.
The book retraces the epic of a creative and stimulating decade through music, cinema, the arts, fashion and costume. The author, Michelangelo Iossa, is a university professor, journalist and writer known for his biographies on the Beatles and other music icons, while Franco Dassisti is a journalist, film critic and radio host with a long experience in the sector.
