With these words the Anti-Camorra Committee for Legality condemns yet another Camorra murder, which saw the victim, 24-year-old Alfonso Fontana, a young and well-known criminal from Castellammare, scion of a Camorra family, fall under gunfire a few steps away from the courthouse.
The Committee underlines the dramatic nature of an event involving such a young boy and the ferocity of the Camorra which claims victims among the new recruits.

Repression alone is not enough
Torre Annunziata, as Caivano and many other realities in the metropolitan area of Naples, needs concrete answers that go beyond repression.
We need policies to combat juvenile criminal deviance, social distress and the lack of alternatives to the streets and crime.
The Anti-Camorra Committee calls for a strong and concrete commitment from the institutions to fight the Camorra and build a better future for the new generations.
