A 34-year-old man was arrested by the State Police in Greek's tower for stealing two air conditioners from a private garage.
The arrest took place on Saturday afternoon in via De Nicola, following a report to 113.
The officers of the Torre del Greco Police Station intervened promptly and stopped the thief as he tried to walk away with two boxes in his hand.
Inside the boxes, two air conditioners complete with motors were found. The police also found that the garage's electrical control had been tampered with.
The man, a Neapolitan with a criminal record, was arrested for aggravated theft and damage.
