Two citizens Neapolitan, aged 18 and 26, were stopped by the Flying Squad of the Teramo Police Headquarters for being the protagonists of a scam to the detriment of an elderly woman.
The two allegedly contacted the woman by phone, requesting compensation of five thousand euros to avoid the arrest of her son, who was involved in an alleged road accident. During the visit to the victim's home, while the husband was absent, one of the scammers obtained several gold jewelry for a total weight of about 50 grams.
Shortly after committing the deception, the two were identified and stopped by the Teramo Flying Squad. Searched, the valuable material was found.
The suspects were subsequently arrested and held in the Police Headquarters holding cells pending the validation hearing.
At the end of the same, the Judge imposed on them the obligation to reside in the Municipality of Naples and a mandatory expulsion order with a ban on returning to the Municipality of Teramo for a period of four years, at the request of the Teramo Police Chief.

What a sad story, poor old lady. I hope justice is done.
