The call for the 2024 Literary Prize has been published and includes a single section entitled “Meglio amarsi”, dedicated to the theme of femicide and violence against women. This choice was influenced by the killing of Giulia Cecchettin, a tragic event that shook the country.
Giovanni Nappi, creator of the national literary competition: “This new edition of the literary competition aims to give participants, and all those who will read the anthology that we will publish, a moment of reflection on a crucial theme, that of femicide, sending a strong and clear message against violence against women”.
Applications for the competition must be submitted by May 20, 2024, and the awards ceremony is scheduled for June 2024 in Casalnuovo di Napoli, at the Parco delle Chiocciole. The full announcement is available for download on the official website www.unacittachescrive.com.
