Last night, shortly before 11:00 PM, a 33-year-old man verbally and physically attacked a security guard in the emergency room at Villa Betania Hospital in Ponticelli . The man, who arrived at the hospital with a code green, apparently reacted violently after a prolonged wait.
His frustration resulted in an attack on the security guard and in damaging the entrance door, hitting it with a kick. The carabinieri of the Barra station intervened promptly on the scene, identifying and reporting the attacker.
