In the prison of carinola a prison policeman was attacked by an inmate, as reported by Sappe (Autonomous Union of Penitentiary Police).
According to the Campania regional secretary Tiziana Guacci, the prisoner attacked the policeman as the latter was opening the cell door for him, hitting him repeatedly.
Only the immediate intervention of other inmates made it possible to neutralize the attacker, who continued to resist even afterward.
