Last evening, at the end of the Serie A match between Lazio e Udinese During the match played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, State Police officers intercepted and arrested a group of Lazio fans with their faces covered and armed with sticks on Viale Angelico, at the intersection with Via Durazzo.
When the police appeared, the ultras fled, heading toward Via Turba and throwing bottles at the officers. However, one of them, a 30-year-old Roman citizen, was quickly stopped and arrested. The man was found in possession of a surgical scalpel.
Already subject to a two-year ban from police orders issued by the La Spezia police commissioner, the man was arrested on charges of resisting a public official and unlawful possession of a knife. The preliminary investigations judge confirmed the order.
