Arzano. Properties confiscated from the Camorra: after the DIA blitz, the administration takes cover and quickly entrusts the assets. The complaint is filed by the city councilor Salvatore Borreale.

And to be credible in the eyes of the Naples Prosecutor's Office - led by the intransigent prosecutor Nicola Gratteri -, he does it with great fanfare by also inviting the "guarantors" of the center right. In short, unclear aspects that will be evaluated by the Prosecutor's Office. And now even the councilor of Arzano Viva Salvatore Borreale denounces the state of "non-government" that reigns in Arzano.

“The local power, instead of governing and administering a worn-out, unsafe and disarrayed city, is laying the foundations for the future to protect and reserve social work at the expense of the citizens of Arzano.

The connection between the assignment of assets confiscated from organized crime and the purposes in favor of public services is evident to all, however it cannot be unidirectional only towards some specific services considered social, there are other social services that would deserve greater attention and priority from this administration, especially when there has been no debate and discussion among local political and social forces, when the issue has never been placed on the agenda of the city council and the council committees.

In this regard, in short, no act of political direction has been published, it all seems to be concerted between a few intimates. The return to legality and to the community of confiscated real estate resulting from illicit activities has been established for years in our democratic system, precisely for this reason they must be enjoyed by all without creating privileged spaces in favor of a few and without conflicts of interest.

These assets should produce income and employment, reuse should be more transparent and also with greater cultural purposes, encouraging social aggregations and the inclusion of young people in the world of work".

"Recently, it emerged that the confiscated property on Via Ten. Alberto Barone," Borreale reports, "is to be used for social activities for women victims of violence. This activity is entrusted to an association registered in the register of Third Sector Entities. Meanwhile, the confiscated villa on Via Francesco Compagna will also host similar social activities, but this time of an institutional nature, sponsored by the Municipality.

In this villa, reading the inauguration poster, some social activities should be carried out that the municipal department defines as follows: family center, social secretariat, psychological help desk and anti-violence center.

It seems that the same social activities will take place in the two confiscated properties, practically a duplicate. It seems that one will act as the head office and the other as a branch office tied together by the same thread. A stroke of genius by the Aruta administration, some would call it.

Except that the costs of the services would be borne by the Municipality or the Social Area for the confiscated villa, while in the three apartments of the Via Barone property, the association to which the property will be assigned will 'apparently' carry out social activities.

And it is clear that there are many doubts and questions about the confiscated villa, for example: Does the Municipality have the appropriate and adequate staff to carry out the activity of anti-violence center and psychological help desk? Will the Municipality entrust these services to private companies or entities?

Will the social services office be moved to the building on Via Compagna to become a full-fledged "social hub"? Will the municipality, after spending money on renovations, give up another asset and assign it to Social Area 18? Meanwhile, while everything is unfolding and the municipality is in near-bankruptcy, for some, the future is almost assured. Stop everything, you who can!
